Differential exams – second degree
Candidates for enrollment in the second-degree master’s study programs of the Faculty of European Law of the New University who have completed a study program for obtaining a higher professional education or a study program for obtaining a university education in other professional (unrelated) fields must, as a condition for enrollment in the first year master’s study programs, complete additional study obligations (DIFFERENTIAL EXAMS), which are essential for continuing studies.
Obligations are determined by the Study Committee based on the diversity of the professional field, and candidates must complete them before enrolling in the study program.
To determine the obligations, candidates fill out the form “Application for determination of differential exams” and forward it together with the mandatory supporting documents by e-mail to the address: info@epf.nova-uni.si
Required documents:
- Diploma certificate or certificate of graduation from a first-degree study program;
- Curriculum vitae of the undergraduate study program;
- Certificate of passed exams.
APPLICATION FOR THE DIFFERENTIAL EXAMS
Candidates after determining the differential exams fill out the “Application for differential exams” form and send it by e-mail to the address: info@epf.nova-uni.si.
The faculty issues a bill to the candidate for taking differential exams, which they send to the provided email address.
After receiving the confirmation of payment for differential exams, the faculty enter the candidate for the exam. A candidate who is unable to attend the exam on the scheduled date must notify the faculty by e-mail at info@epf.nova-uni.si at least 24 hours before the announced date (cancellation from the exam). If he/she does not do this and does not attend the exam, the candidate will be denied one admission.
Exam dates for individual subjects will start from January 2024 onwards. The dates of the examination deadlines for differential exams are published HERE.
PRICE
The price of the differential exam in the master’s study program is EUR 50.00 (each approach to the exam is paid).
PREPARATION (LITERATURE AND MATERIALS) FOR THE DIFFERENTIAL EXAMINATION
Before taking the exam, candidates must review the literature listed for each subject and watch the lecture videos. The latter are accessible on the Moodle portal, where you enter with a username and password assigned by the faculty.
Candidates can borrow study material free of charge from the University Library of the New University (knjiznica@nova-uni.si).
