Students Council
The Student Council comprises student representatives enrolled at the faculty. The Student Council deals with and gives its opinion to the competent bodies on the Statute of the faculty, on all matters that refer to the rights and duties of the students, as well as adopts and implements extracurricular programmes for the students in collaboration with the student community.
The Student Council has at least five members. The term of office of the Student Council members lasts one year.
Members of the Student Council are elected directly at elections by the students of the faculty. The elections are generally held in the second half of October.
The Student Council makes decisions at meetings, which are public in nature. A president, who is elected from among the members of the Student Council, runs the Student Council. In their absence, the vice president of the Student Council, who is elected from among the members of the Student Council, runs the Council. Minutes of the meetings of the Student Council are taken and are then signed by the president of the Student Council or, in their absence, by the vice president. The operation and means of organisation of the Student Council are determined in more detail in the Rules of the Student Council. The Rules of the Student Council are adopted by the Governing Board of the faculty following the prior opinion of the Student Council.
