Content (Syllabus outline)
Presentation of key concepts and selected key examples of architecture of the 20th and 21st century in order to familiarize students with the role of architecture in evaluating and investing in real estate. Modernism is the time of significant changes of the architectural and design thinking primarily in terms of the evolution of technology, new materials, media. To understand the architectural value of the property it is important to develop a sense of how the architectural design developed and what is essential for the quality of architecture that is throughout history only gaining in value.

Doc. Sonja Miculinić u.i.d.a. is well known architect active in the field of architecture an urbanistic planning, creating interiors, exhibitions projects and publicity. 2005 recived Gold pencil (ZAPS) award, 2004 recived first award on public competition for primary school Bonifika, Koper with Omnia Arhing d.o.o. 1998 recived first award on public competition for renovation of National Assembly of Republic of Slovenia together with Albina Kinderhofer and Darja Valič. It’s active member of association of UIFA, International association of architects, Association of architects of Ljubljana and Dessa. She is a professor on European law faculty in Nova Gorica and invited lecture on the Faculty for architecture of Ljubljana. Her works are published in professionals jurnals Oris and AB.
