All sport fans are invited to visit Nova Gorica Sports Park and modern kayak centre in Solkan where sports competitions at the highest level take place. In the vicinity of Nova Gorica in Ozeljan there is an excellent venue for paragliding which attracts many domestic and foreign parachutist. Along the Soča river you can visit Adventure Park Solkan that extends to approximately 4000 square meters of land. Nature lovers are also invited to the urban forest Panovec which is a popular promenade for local people. In Nova Gorica students can spend time in various courses (yoga, tai chi and other martial arts, language and dance classes), fitness centre, the pool or bowling centre near Nova Gorica. In the field of culture students can attend various exhibitions, concerts, literary readings and theatrical performances with a possibility of student subscription at the Slovenian National Theatre.
