International conferences
Doctoral scientific international conference
Each year in May, the European Faculty of Law and the Graduate School of Government and European Studies organize a Doctoral scientific international conference, intended primarily for doctoral students from both faculties. The Conference addresses current topics and issues in the field of law, management and real estate. Scientific contributions are then published in the conference proceedings.

NUŠKA
The members of the New University, the European Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Government and European Studies and the Faculty of Slovenian and International Studies, co-organize every year the NUŠKA conference – Student Conference of the New University.
The purpose of the student conference is to bring the scientific research work of all three faculties closer to the students at the New University, to motivate them to cooperate and to establish an environment where students can present their research achievements, ideas, solutions and critically define themselves regarding current public law, legal and international issues.
The topics of the conferences are focused on contributions that deal with the research achievements of students in the field of law, public administration, administrative and international law, and diplomacy.

In 2020, the New University organized the second NUŠKA student conference. Due to the epidemic of the Covid-19 coronavirus, the final event of the NUŠKA student conference, scheduled for April 7, 2020, has been cancelled. Despite everything, the collected papers were reviewed, collected and finally published. The contributions were prepared by the 3rd students of the faculty.

In 2019, the New University organized the first NUŠKA student conference. The conference focused on contributions that dealt with the research achievements of students in the fields of law, public administration, administrative and international law, and diplomacy. 6 students of the faculty participated in the conference.
CIRRE Conference
CIRRE (Conference of interdisciplinary research on real estate) unites researchers and professionals to start a dialogue about interdisciplinary research, its influence on the built environment, and interactions with stakeholders in an international, scientific and professional perspective.
The aim of the conference is to present and publish new, contemporary, and quality research, including conceptual and empirical research papers. The papers are subject to double blind peer review. The conference is open and encourages the use of various research methods (conceptual development, various univariate and multivariate quantitative methods, various qualitative methods including case studies, action research, demographic, ethnographic research etc.).
Our social environment is rapidly changing and has a large impact on future real estate propositions, both physically and digitally. As such, interdisciplinary research into real estate provides orientation for aligning real estate versatilely with future social issues across the spectrum with the following ten themes: (1) Real Estate Studies and Analysis, (2) Sustainability in Environment, Economic, Social and Cultural context, (3) Market and Marketability, (4) Facilities Management, (5) Urban planning and Design, (6) Housing and Rural-Urban studies, (7) Socio-Economic, Psychological, Living environment, Demographic researcher, (8), Business, Economics and Management, (9) Policy and Practice and (10) Research methods.

International Conference – The New Constitutional Process for the European Union
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the European Faculty of Law, the international conference “The New Constitutional Process for the European Union” took place at Cankarjevo nabrežje 11, Ljubljana between 18 and 19 April 2016. The conference was attended by eminent domestic and foreign legal experts, politicians and academics. The conference offered discussion about the present crisis and the future of the EU and provided a search for concrete solutions in the context of the text of a new European Constitution at the academic level.
