ArtCamp Andorra 2021: “Colours for the Planet” – a cultural action for peace
Dear Students,
The Andorran National Commission for UNESCO is honoured to invite you to take part in the 7th ArtCamp Andorra – Colours for the Planet, a cultural project for peace, which will take place on 14 – 25 July 2021 in the Principality of Andorra, if the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic permits. This year’s event benefits from the support of UNESCO, within the RésiliArt movement that was launched by the international organisation at the start of the health crisis. Moreover, this project is also supported by Ms Hedva Ser, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador and Special Envoy for Cultural Diplomacy, and patroness of ArtCamp Andorra since 2012.
ArtCamp Andorra is an international gathering where painters from five continents meet and interact and share their culture. Besides artistic creation, during their stay in Andorra, the artists are involved in exchanges designed to promote and respect the promotion of the diversity of cultural expressions. The works from ArtCamp Andorra are often included in travelling exhibitions and displayed at international forums.
With six successful years behind it, we wish to enhance this project by inviting artists who are especially committed to projects relating to intercultural dialogue, the culture of peace or sustainable development. Over the course of ArtCamp Andorra, the artists will present their project and enjoy support to bring it to fruition. One of the projects can also receive a grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Andorra. In this way, we hope to contribute to UNESCO’s values and principles and the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
The dossier must be sent to the Andorran National Commission for UNESCO before 15 April 2021.
You can find more information about this event in the attachements.
Kind regards,
